If you are looking for an unique handmade gift item or a piece of original artwork to enhance your home, Gallery BN5 in Henfield is a great place to start.

The gallery is friendly, inclusive and artist-run, and hosts the work of many local artists and designer/makers from around Sussex. Originally opened in 2018, it is currently run by painter Esther Newnham-Brown.

In its prime Henfield High Street location, the gallery offers a wonderful space for artists to showcase their work. Being artist-run, means that each exhibitor contributes to the running of the gallery by regularly working here, giving them an opportunity to engage with visitors.

Most art disciplines are on display throughout the year and include painting, sculpture, printmaking, jewellery, leatherwork, textiles, woodturning, fused glass and ceramics. A wide range of artists’ unframed and limited addition prints and greeting cards are always available to purchase.

Gallery BN5 changes its display each month, with new artists coming in, and those who are remaining updating their display. This means that there is always something new to see. View our current exhibitors here.

Gallery BN5 is open between 10am and 2pm Monday to Saturday with occasional additional openings for special events.
